Lighting Design

This section documents the immersive lighting design, a crucial part of the curatorial concept of the exhibition. Somerset House and curator Sarah Cook worked with award-winning lighting designer Lucy Carter to create a creative lighting design that reflected and enhanced the themes of the show. Drawing strongly on the idea of our natural circadian rhythm, the lighting drew visitors round the galleries, from the cold light of the moon to the warm glow of sunset.
